Conditions of Hire

1. Confirmation of booking will be taken as acceptance of the conditions of hire

2. Goods are hired to customers on the understanding that they shall be returned in an undamaged condition on the agreed date. The customer will be responsible for and reimburse the company for any loss or damage to the goods on hire (accidental damage insurance available for £5.00 per outfit).

3. Customers are advised to check immediately after collecting the hired goods that the order is complete, they are the correct sizes and are in good condition.  Incorrect supply must be notified before the date of wear.  Claiming incorrect supply will not be entertained after the wear date.  Richard Mark Menswear is not responsible for any cost incurred due to non or incorrect supply.

4. Hires may be collected after 3pm 2 days prior to the function date or as mutually agreed between the customers and Richard Mark.

5. Hires must be returned by 3pm on the working day following the date of wear.  All late returns will incur an excess charge of £10 per day.

6. All cancelled orders will incur a fee of £50.00 per outfit if cancelled more than 28 days before the wear date.  Any order cancelled with less than 28 days notice will be liable for full payment.  All balances must be paid 28 days prior to wear date.

7.  When the hirer has paid accidental damage insurance, the company waive all rights to claim under clause 2 above.

8. A returnable security deposit of £50.00 is required for each outfit on the day it leaves the company's premises.  This is returned when each hire is returned.  In case of highland wear, the deposit will be £100.00.

9.  The company will not be liable for any injuries or loss caused from or by any article hired.

10.  The company will not be responsible for any reason of fire, accident, strike, lockouts or force majeure or any other reason beyond their control should any hired garment not be available.
